This is the chronicle of our journey through the 21st century and our exploration and implementation of a greener lifestyle for our family. We are a family of four humans in suburban St Louis, Missouri, USA. We have always been Earth-conscious but have become even more aware recently of all of the things we can be doing to not only leave a smaller carbon footprint behind but to also increase our sustainable use of our land and resources to work and live in harmony with the earth and so have decided to embark on this journey to change our lives in many of those ways.

The front beds
After the first fill up...
After tamping down and the second fillup.
We have planted watermelon in the front square bed and three kinds of tomatoes and basil in the long bed. It was be a wonderful color show and I can't wait!
